Biographies from Walter Isaacson are well researched and well written. I liked Steve Jobs and Albert Einstein and so when I saw he had written another one, I decided to buy it. He always made it sound like they were the sole responsible behind the technological revolution. However in Code Breaker, a lot of characters are introduced. It is a field the continuously evolving and so complex, that it makes sense that you cannot talk about the contribution of just one person, without mentioning the others. It is well researched book and the complex information is explained very well. There is so much suffering that can be alleviated through gene editing, but also so much that can go wrong through misuse. The book leaves you both excited and scared.
